97008 Super Lube Silicone lubricating brake grease with PTFE - 258 gr tube

Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Brake Grease with PTFE is an NLGI grade 2 grease designed for caliper and wheel cylinder assembly work because silicone is an excellent lubricant for rubber and plastics. It is compatible with most rubber compounds, including nitrile, nylon and other synthetic rubbers. 

Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Brake Grease should be used at any point in the brake system where parts slide or move. For disc brakes, the lubrication points include: caliper guides, pins, bushings, and contact points where the pads slide into the caliper housing. It can be applied to self-adjusting mechanisms on rear disc brakes with locking calipers, parking brake cables and clutches.

Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Brake Grease can also be used to damp vibrations between disc brake pads and caliper pistons. It should NOT be used between the brake pads and any noise reducing shims. Use it sparingly on the back of a bare brake pad or between the pad and caliper.

This Grease with PTFE is a specially formulated non-curing silicone compound ideal for the entire brake assembly. It is waterproof and protects against moisture and other contaminants.

It is translucent white, clean and clear in appearance and dampens vibrations between contact points.

Super Lube Silicone Brake Grease with PTFE will not harden, dry out or melt.
